You are in the age bracket of 17 to 31, hold British citizenship and have 180 UCAS points from A levels, Scottish Highers or equivalent. Intelligence, good communication skills and common sense are key. Entry is by competitive selection conducted by the Admiralty Interview Board (AIB). This role is available in either the surface or submarine flotillas and involves employment both at sea and on shore. The staring salary of £15268 rises to £24132 on passing out of training at Britannia Royal Naval College. Graduate entry is also possible and the range of subjects of an acceptable degree is wide. The graduate starting salary is £29006.

Logistics Officers have overall responsibility for ensuring a ship has everything it needs to be operationally effective - from food to machinery spare parts - and also includes personnel. When the ship is in action, you will be in charge of the battle damage-control and first-aid teams.
