About: Marine Carpenter
This is an incredibly diverse role, carpenters are involved at all stages of the build. You will be tasked with working to install bulkheads and structural parts, through to final fit out of luxury cabins within the full range of sailing vessels or superyachts. Some of the yachts even have a carpenter permanently on-board as part of the crew.
At times you will be working with high value veneers and materials, and so will be expected to work to exceptional standards and with a keen eye for detail. Being part of a production environment you will be expected to work well as part of a team, and be confident in working regularly with other trades during the build to ensure that the all work runs smoothly.
