You are aged 17 to 25, hold British citizenship and have A Levels (or equivalent educational qualifications) totalling at least 180 UCAS points. This job demands a cool head, excellent analytical and decision making skills together with clear and decisive communicating ability. Entry is by competitive selection, carried out by the Admiralty Interview Board (AIB). You are also required to pass flying aptitude tests. Both School Leavers and Graduates are sought, the former salary starting at £15268 and rising to £24132 on passing out of general naval training at Britannia Royal Naval College Dartmouth and the latter £29006.

This role is all about maintaining the safe passage of air traffic around aircraft carriers and naval air stations. In today's increasingly crowded skies, you will be working with sophisticated radar and communication systems and leading a skilled team of aircraft controllers.
